a girl & her horse.

Tucked away in the small town of Amherst Nova Scotia Canada, on a monthly basis, ladies of all ages gather to compete in an event called Cattle Sorting. Photographs of the events are in no shortage, so my goal was to arrange for a chance to capture moments between a "girl and her horse". One pair at a time, we sauntered outside, without much direction, I asked these cowgirls to simply walk around with their horse and just hang out.

Armed with focal lengths no less than 50mm, so as not to encroach on the mood, I tried to record great day.
